We can't even remember how many seasons ago it was that we bought the Korean label, Yukio Mishiba to the store and potentially the UK. It was the start of the venture into us sourcing and finding new labels that would soon be able to accompany the Japanese labels that we had planned to bring in over the following seasons. We started out working with the more asymmetirc, oversized pieces within the collection but slowly moved into the more tailored pieces of knitwear that came out in both jersey and knitwear. That's the beauty of Yukio Mishiba, the fact that it's theoretically two collections within one label and that it can cater to two completely different customers and with Yukio Mishiba himself being engaged within fashion and textiles since 1985, we have no doubts with the quality and movement that this label is taking. Yukio Mishiba has been a favourite within the store and will continue to be this season with the sleeveless pieces being an essential part of the collection for SS12.
