Our forth season with the Japanese label The Viridi-Anne. The label has been a strong one within the store and has slowly recieved the demanding audience it deserves. The designer, Tomoaki Okaniwa studied fine art and oil-painting at Tokyo Zokei University where his passion to use his skills in other ways and to connect with individuals on the street lead him to starting his own label, The Viridi-Anne. Each season shows a key influence within the collection, whether that be shades of colours or images, the reference is clear thoughout. The Viridi-Anne presents us with some amazing techniques used within the AW11 collecton with origami style J-Pleat pants that show nothing but intricate attention to detail of the highest levels or the re-introduction of boiled wool asymmetric jackets. The Viridi-Anne is a label that we are very fortunate to have here at Autograph Menswear.
